As a Federation with one Executive Headteacher, there is close contact and liaison between the Infant and Junior Schools (and with our other feeder schools) to ensure a smooth transition for children both into Reception and into the Junior School.  

Wildground Junior and Infant children regularly take part in joint activities and many clubs are open to children from both schools.  At the time of transition the Year 2/3 children will already feel familiar with their new school and can feel confident about the next stage in their education.  Similarly, our Year 6 pupils attend activities at the local secondary schools during their final year at Wildground Junior School.  Key staff work together to support children transferring to and from this school to feel secure and confident in the next steps on their journey.
