Swimming Proficiency

 

2024 after swimming lessons in year 5 and top up lessons in year 6:

 

 31 out of 39 year 6 pupils out of  pupils are able to: 

• Swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres

 

 29 out of 39 year 6 pupils are able to: 

• Use a range of strokes effectively

 

  31 out of 39 year 6 pupils are able to: 

• Perform safe self-rescue in deep water-based situations

 

 36 out of 39 year 6 pupils are able to: 

• Perform safe self-rescue in shallow water-based situations
