Text Driver Word Webs:

To support our children in developing a rich vocabulary, we have introduced text driver word webs that are linked specifically to the high quality text drivers used to underpin our learning. The aim of these text driver word webs is to deepen the children’s use and understanding of language. We expose children to this higher order language with the intent that children will then apply new vocabulary within their speech and their written outcomes. The text driver word web has become an integrated part of our English learning walls and they are also available for the children to access within the classroom independently.
