  • PTFA Fireworks 2023 - 2nd November

    Wed 18 Oct 2023 PTFA

Fireworks tickets (They will be wristbands this year not paper tickets) are available to purchase online until Friday 27th October using Purchase PTFA Fireworks Tickets

Adults (age 16+) - £5 Children (age 4+)- £3 Under 4s - free (ticket required) please ensure to include exact ticket numbers as well as child's name and class/address in the notes section to allow for the tickets to be distributed promptly. Any orders received during half term will be distributed on Tuesday 31st October.

After that date all tickets will need to be purchased directly from the PTFA before / after school between Tuesday 31st October-Thursday 2nd November (cash or card payments are available).

No tickets will be available through classrooms after half term as there is not enough time for the  volunteers to sort them and return tickets. Attached to this email is the flyer that was included in last weeks newsletter and this has all the relevant timings and pricing information as well as a QR code for tickets if the above link does not work for you.

All ticket requests received before 27th October will be distributed by Tuesday 31st October.

Tickets are limited and will not be sold on the gate - no wristband = no entry!

Finally this event requires a large number of volunteers, without enough stewards we will need to limit our ticket numbers. If you are able to offer your time as a steward from 5.45pm-7.30pm on Thursday 2nd November 2023 that would be great.

Any questions please feel free to contact the PTFA via email ptfa@wildground.hants.sch.uk

    Thank you from the PTFA.

  • Good News from OFSTED Inspection of the Infant School

Tue 10 Oct 2023 Mrs Mullett

We are delighted to share the Ofsted report following the recent inspection at the Infant school. The report reflects the excellent work at the school and although this was an ungraded inspection (checking that the school remains good):

‘the evidence gathered suggests that the inspection grade might be outstanding if a graded (section 5) inspection were carried out now, the school’s next inspection will be a graded inspection’

This is a fantastic outcome and we look forward to the next inspection.

The report recognises how well all pupils achieve at school:

‘The possibilities are endless for pupils who attend the school’ ‘Pupils, including those with specialised needs and/or disabilities (SEND) achieve extremely well’

We are very proud of all the children who showed the inspector how well they behave and learn: ‘Behaviour in lessons is excellent and pupils work hard’

The report also recognises that the excellent work of the school starts within nursery and Year R:

‘This curriculum offer starts with an exceptional early years setting where staff are experts in early education’

Mrs Mullett would like to thank the staff, children and governors for all their hard work, which has resulted in such a positive outcome. We hope you enjoy reading our report - OFSTED Inspection Report - Oct-23
